Pollinators, Honey, Bees, Bugs : Discover a New World and What’s Essential

  • 18:30
  • Lab111 | Arie Biemondstraat 111 | Amsterdam

Are you passionate about urban nature and eager to experience something new this year? Join Wellbeeing Foundation for their interactive “Buzzing Bees” course – an exciting opportunity to get hands-on with the fascinating world of bees and pollinators!

Over three Wednesday evenings, you’ll be guided by our expert natural beekeeping teacher through the lives of (honey)bees, bumblebees, and other essential pollinators. Explore their vital roles in our ecosystems, and use your senses to discover the world of bee products like raw honey, pollen, beeswax, and propolis. And you will learn what to do with wasps, hornets and other flying creatures as well.

As part of a diverse group of internationals, you’ll explore:

  • The ecological importance of bees and pollinators in the city
  • Beekeeping practices from around the globe
  • Practical tips for creating pollinator-friendly spaces in urban areas

Whether you’re a nature lover or simply curious, this course offers a unique chance to learn, connect (with other nature lovers), and how to further contribute to a healthier, buzzier Amsterdam together.
